🇮🇷🇱🇰 : Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. Our hearts are heavy with sorrow upon hearing the tragic news of the helicopter crash that has claimed the lives of Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister, the Imam of Tabriz Mosque, and the Governor of East Azerbaijan. 

This is a profound loss not only for Iran but for the entire Muslim Ummah.We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the departed and to the people of Iran during this difficult time.May Allah grant them Jannatul Firdaus and give strength to those who mourn their loss.

The first batch of Sri Lankan Hajj pikgrims left for Makkah in the early hours of Tuesday,June 21.The pikgrims were seen off by distinguished guests at the Bandaranaike International Airport here. Ambassador Khaled bin Hamoud Al-Kahtani, attended the send-off ceremony of the first group of Sri Lankan Hajj pilgrims consisting of 68 pilgrims, in the presence of Vidura Wickremanayake, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, along with the Chairman of the Hajj Committee of Sri Lanka, Ibrahim Sahib Ansar and officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
